Family
Coming to the Mucem as a family is... an extraordinary opportunity for young and old to share, a first encounter with the works and cultures of the Mediterranean, and an unforgettable memory of a visit or stroll through the museum for all!
At Mucem, everything is done to help you discover the museum and turn your outing with the kids into a fun experience for all. Activities, opening times and prices have been designed to make it easier for families to visit the museum: a cheaper family ticket for older children, a children’s area to cater for the youngest visitors, weekend workshops, and a rich program of shows during the school vacations.
At the Mucem with the little ones
The museum is a multi-sensory space that lends itself perfectly to cultural and artistic experiences that encourage interaction and discovery, and help toddlers to develop and blossom. That’s why the Mucem bends over backwards to welcome you as a family, from the earliest age, and offers you the perfect setting for sensitive, sensory experiences that nurture the bond between children and parents.
