In the “Popular? Treasures from the collections”, the objects, from the simplest to the most spectacular, all have something to tell children! During this storytelling tour for the whole family, they’ll discover the story of Nasreddine, a slightly mad wise man who everyone loved to listen to. Mucem and puppets have a long history of love and collections! Guided by a fun application, children are invited to set off in search of Raoul Lala – Marseille’s most famous puppet – through the most secret corners of the reserves of the Centre de Conservation et de Ressources (CCR) de la Belle de Mai. Dreaming the Mediterranean
Workshop tour for children aged 6 to 11
In the permanent “Mediterranean” exhibition, children discover how objects, stories and works of art have created dream images of the Mediterranean. Between ancient temples, mythological heroes and vanished cities, they explore these imaginary worlds throughout the visit, before giving free rein to their own vision during a creative workshop.
