Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC

As a regional cooperative bank, Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC has always been involved in philanthropic initiatives throughout the regions it serves, particularly in support of the arts.

Recognizing the vital role that the Mucem could play in the region, CEPAC sought to become a Founding Patron as early as 2013 by providing long-term financial support to the museum, which has become a symbol of the Marseille region. For the past 10 years, Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC has been committed to making culture accessible to as many people as possible. Thanks to its support, more than 350,000 students have been able to visit the museum at a reduced rate.

Each year, CEPAC chooses to provide special support for one major exhibition. Following “Jeff Koons” and “Abd el-Kader,” CEPAC has decided to partner with the flagship exhibition of 2023, “Fashion Folklore,” which explores the dialogue between traditional costume and haute couture. The exhibition features nearly 300 pieces from the Mucem’s collection and on loan from the most prestigious French and international museums.

"Today's leading fashion designers draw inspiration from traditional regional costumes. The 'Fashion Folklore' exhibition pays tribute to the region's history and identity. CEPAC is proud to support this exhibition, which highlights our material and cultural heritage and our traditions."
