Introductory fashion and design workshop for children aged 6 to 11

Transmission is at the heart of fashion designer Mossi Traoré’s work. After discovering the exhibition “Mossi Traoré, la mode aussi” at the Mucem, children will follow in the designer’s footsteps, taking part in a workshop combining materials and shapes, urban art and artisan know-how.

By the end of the workshop, they’ll have made their own object: a key ring featuring motifs inspired by the exhibition. It’s sure to inspire new vocations in dressmaking!

In collaboration with Caroline Perdrix, co-founder of the Itinérance Méditerranée association.

  • Practical information for accompanying persons:

    • All children attending the workshop must have a ticket (no ticket required for accompanying adults for this workshop).
    • Meet 15 minutes before the start of the activity, in front of the workshop room on level -1 of J4. A receptionist will be on hand to welcome you (and give you your reserved tickets if you don’t have an e-ticket).
    • You are invited to accompany your children for the first 45 minutes or so, as they explore the “Mossi Traoré, la mode aussi” exhibition together. The activity then continues in the workshop room for 45 minutes. While the children work on their creations, you are free to enjoy this time as you wish.
    • The presence of an accompanying adult is required in the case of siblings including a child under the recommended age for this workshop, in order to best accompany them in their new discoveries.
    • We’ll be waiting for you in front of the workshop room (level -1) at the time indicated for the activity to pick up your children and their creations!
