  "The International AIDS Memorial Quilt / Not all battles are fought with a sword. // // June 23 - 25, 1995 // At Yerba Buena Gardens, Mission Street between 3rd and 4th. // In 1987, the first Quilt panel was sewn here in San Francisco to remember a special friend who had died from AIDS. Today, the Quilt has 30 000 panels from all over the world. And today, AIDS has killed three million people worldwide. It's now the leading cause of death among Americans, age 25 to 44. This June, as part of the United Nations' 50th Anniversary, the International AIDS memorial Quilt wil be displayed at the Yerba Buena Gardens. It will have panels from 30 countries and wil cover a city block. The exhibit will be from 12 to 6 pm Friday, 10 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. Witness the Quilt. Remember, a world without AIDS can exist again.
