Throughout the school year, the Mucem invites elementary school classes to explore its exhibitions and collections through guided tours and workshops tailored to each grade level. Check out the program designed for students in grades 1 through 5.

Workshop Visits to Schools in Marseille

Self-guided exhibition tours

All exhibitions are open to self-guided tours (booking required). You can also take advantage of the gardens and terrace of J4 for an outdoor visit.

Opening days and times

School groups are welcome every day starting at 9:15 a.m., except on Tuesdays. Time slots from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. are reserved exclusively for groups. Off-site workshops are primarily held on Tuesdays.

Reservation

Guided tours, workshops, and self-guided tours are available by reservation only. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance.
