The Conservation and Resource Centre
Located in the Belle de Mai district, the Conservation and Resource Center (CCR) is dedicated to the conservation and dissemination of the Mucem collections. The model apartment is one of 17 storerooms that showcase the diversity of the museum’s holdings and reveal what goes on behind the scenes. A reading room is also available for consulting archives and books, and for borrowing the latter.

Mission Monotheisms
Off-site workshop in Marseille / Duration: 1h30.
With the help of a number of clues, students will observe, analyze and describe different types of objects linked to monotheistic religions, questioning their uses and what they allow us to understand about religions in a secular, non-denominational approach.

The Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the Mucem offer secondary school students a sensitive experience to discover the Joliette district, in the form of an augmented walk thanks to the “Les Venants” application linking their architecture.
