Bicycle-based image theater for ages 2 and up
Deeply rooted in the popular tradition of Japanese Kamishibai (paper theater), Les forces rondes tells toddlers the story of a snake and its moult. As the narrator and his little wooden theater perched on a bicycle arrive, images are born and transformed to the sound of percussion, like the snake and its moult. At the end of the show, this “story bike” will leave a trace of its passage, that of its wheels, creating a collective memory of this shared moment.
The MELAMPO company is subsidized by the Drac Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, and receives operating support from the city of Dijon and the Conseil départemental de Côte d’Or.
