Show for ages 8 and up, combining text, music and mapping visuals
Nadir designates both the point opposite the zenith in astronomy, and a first name of Arabic origin meaning “the one who warns”. This poetic, sensory show combines music, projected celestial images and storytelling.
The story follows Manel, a little girl with a passion for the stars, who studies the sky and constellations to overcome her fear of the dark. The story is complemented by a plunge into the musical world of the Middle East, while mapping visuals project a cosmic universe. In words, images and music, the whole reveals a universal fascination for the night sky and the stars, as well as for the cultural and musical narratives of the Arab world and the Mediterranean basin.
A show put on by the TRIG collective
