Mediterranean Season 2026
Mucem hosts two days of meetings dedicated to solidarity and creativity in Gaza.
Cultural and scientific meetings on artistic creation and the destruction of cultural heritage in Gaza, the challenges of welcoming artists in emergency situations in France and cultural solidarity around Palestine.
Organized on the initiative of the Collectif MAAN for Gaza Artists, these meetings bring together Gazan artists and researchers based in France, cultural institutions and artists committed to Palestine, as well as researchers specializing in the region and artistic migration. This event is organized in resonance with the exhibition “Déplacer le silence : 40 artistes et poéte-ses de Gaza” curated by Rasha Salti (assisted by Anna Breton) and running from May 16 to June 5 at Jeanne Barret.

As a prelude to the Saison Méditerranée 2026, Camélia Jordana celebrates femininity, transmission and Mediterranean cultures at the Mucem.
Camélia Jordana pays a powerful tribute to women, and to African and North African women in particular, in an intimate concert at Le Mucem as part of her tour. By bringing together different languages, identities and cultures in her new album, due for release in 2027, the singer celebrates the Mediterranean, union and transmission in an ode to femininity and sisterhood.
