Caballero soy (I am a knight) won the Spanish Young People’s Show Award. In this production, Cervantes himself – or rather, his puppet – narrates the adventures of his hero in the first person, embodying the famous “knight in shining armor” he dreamed of being. A show designed to make you discover Cervantes and his novel with joy and laughter… and to dream with your eyes open.
Text based on the work of Miguel de Cervantes. Directed and dramaturgied by Adrián Torrero and Jesús Caballero. Performance and puppet manipulation by Raúl Esquinas, Adrián Torrero and Raquel Racionero. Finalist in the Almagro 2024 festival’s international baroque competition for children.

Deeply rooted in the popular tradition of Japanese Kamishibai (paper theater), Les forces rondes tells toddlers the story of a snake and its moult. As the narrator and his little wooden theater perched on a bicycle arrive, images are born and transformed to the sound of percussion, like the snake and its moult.
