For the second evening, Bonnie Banane’s pop music takes over the Place d’Armes at Fort Saint-Jean for an open-air concert under the stars. French singer-songwriter and actress Bonnie Banane offers a varied selection of music: from conceptual and electronic in English to solo in French. Bonnie Banane mixes R&B, soul and jazz, with touches of hip-hop and electronica. Her music could be described as experimental pop or alternative R&B.

Yuksek and Souleance will be live on the Place d’Armes at Fort Saint-Jean for the third Sous les étoiles evening. Part 1: Souleance Souleance is certainly the most mixed duo in France. Their tracks are regularly played at parties by Polo & Pan, Yuksek and, of course, Borderline. Souleance is the meeting of DJ Soulist and producer Fulgeance. The pair regularly rock the record shelves with their releases combining cutting-edge instrumentals and bouncy samples.

Welcome to the Mucem’s first Full Moon Party! From 8.30pm to 1am, the music will have you reaching for the stars, as Walter Astral gently lifts you off the ground to join the electro planet of Étienne de Crécy. It’ll be a night to remember, and a night to remember… with a host of surprises in store: planet-watching, stargazing, lunar decor, Mars cocktails, space soups, energizing haircuts, astral flash tattoos, zodiac sign readings and a free tour of the “Reading the... All evening long, a cosmic atmosphere will take over the J4 and Place d’Armes. Flash tattoos, lunar haircuts and horoscopes under the stars will enliven Place d’Armes and J4, which will vibrate to the rhythm of a cosmic night. The bar will be offering celestial creations, accompanied by the inevitable full-moon soups. The “Lire le ciel” (Reading the Sky) exhibition will be open to the public until 11 p.m., punctuated by flash visits and giant star walks by Aérosculpture....

Extend this night of the full moon with wireless headphones and dance until sunrise! DJ sets in Silent Party mode from 1 to 5 a.m. With programming by Marsatac agency. Midnight Machine (1am to 3am): Minuit Machine is a flagship project on the darkwave electronic scene. Hybrid and immersive, Minuit Machine’s music crosses genre barriers and shuns labels. Thanks to powerful sounds and heady melodies, Minuit Machine unveils a world of its own. Founded in 2013, the project has never stopped mutating, while preserving its DNA that makes it unique: emotion.   March O10C (1h to 3h) : Mars O10C is a queer DJ and activist. His events link clubbing and activism by supporting trans and non-binary artists through carefully considered curation. Passionate about rave culture and the DIY movement, he enjoys exploring and participating in authentic, community-based musical universes. Known as a keen listener and compulsive digger, Mars O10C pays particular attention to the emotion and subtleties of each track, which he selects with care, whether in his... Oyster Catcher (from 3h to 5h) : Oyster Catcher is an inveterate digger who moves effortlessly between house, techno, break and electro. His sets are bursting with power, an energy he releases with calm concentration. Oyster Catcher doesn’t dance; he lets his body and mind follow the rhythms with precision and discretion. For him, every track is an invitation to dance, every sound a discovery, every mix an adventure.   Night white (3 a.m. to 5 a.m.) : Blanche de nuit is an attempt to select musical poetry. Through her sets, she tries to tell you emotionally-charged stories, punctuated by bass, in an attempt to let your body and mind escape. She draws from down tempo, techno and melodic trance. In all its forms of slowness and acceleration, she hopes to give you a sensitive experience.   And all night long Flash tattoos, lunar haircuts and horoscopes under the stars will enliven J4, which will vibrate to the rhythm of a cosmic night. The bar will be serving up celestial creations, accompanied by the inevitable full-moon soups. The “Reading the Sky” exhibition will be open to the public until 11 p.m., punctuated by flash visits and giant Aerosculpture star walks.

Young Audiences -Workshop
Workshop-visit in connection with the exhibition “Hervé Di Rosa, Un air de famille”. (ages 6 and up) In collaboration with Association Mobile Hervé Di Rosa is a multi-faceted artist whose practice lies somewhere between folk art, modest art and contemporary art. After a visit to the exhibition, this hands-on art workshop lets you create your own totemic character, in a nod to the artist’s colorful pop universe. Workshops for children are conducted in French.  

Mucem's collections

Heir to the Musée d’Ethnographie du Trocadéro and the Musée National des Arts et Traditions Populaires, since 2005 the Mucem has focused the enrichment of its ethnographic collections and holdings on Europe and the Mediterranean.
