In this sensory visit, inspired by object theater and specially adapted for toddlers, we meet a little sheep in search of its bell… With its thousand and one treasures, the “Populaire? Treasures from the collections” is an invitation to awaken their senses and their appetite for discovery. Because there’s no age limit for learning about (and marveling at) the world of museums!

Yoga visit-workshop, for families from 5 years upwards
How about a zen moment at the Mucem? During this hour of yoga, you can take a moment to yourself, let go of tension and explore the museum and its architecture with your body. Nothing but well-being! We advise you to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Before the tour begins, the museum’s checkroom (-1) is free of charge, where you can leave your non-essential or bulky items. Storytelling tour for families aged 4 and over
In conjunction with the “Lire le ciel, sous les étoiles en Méditerranée” (Reading the sky, under the stars in the Mediterranean) exhibition at the Mucem, this storytelling tour for the whole family plunges us into the mysteries of the sky through myths, tales and astrological stories… You’ll come away with stars in your eyes!

Workshop tour for ages 6 to 11
In the permanent “Mediterranean” exhibition, children discover how works of art, objects and stories have created dream images of the Mediterranean. Between ancient temples, mythological heroes and vanished cities, they explore these imaginary worlds before creating their own Mediterranean vision in a workshop.

An emotional tour of the relationship between mothers and children. Through works of art and objects from antiquity to the present day, children discover how motherhood has changed over time, and how precious the bond with their mothers is.
