What if your children were to travel to the stars during the Christmas vacations?

The Mucem is offering two weeks of special programming in conjunction with the “Reading the Sky” exhibition, featuring imaginary planets, worlds dancing on walls and celestial myths. Each show is an invitation to reverie and contemplation, to make all heads turn… towards the sky, and with stars in their eyes!

Musical show for ages 4 to 8, in partnership with Tous en sons, the festival that introduces young children to music.
Galaxie provisoire is all about breath, music, stories and poetry. Breath is used as the driving force behind a living, magical and fragile installation by Maguelone Vidal, who uses a long straw to create illuminated soap bubbles, a metaphor for a galaxy of planets that grow (as long as the breath lasts) before exploding on stage (when the breath stops). Avec Molière Ex Machina, le Mucem accueille un extrait de L’Astrologue ou Les Faux Présages, une comédie pensée à la manière de Molière, où les croyances et les illusions se mêlent aux intrigues humaines.
Quelle pièce de théâtre aurait pu écrire Molière s’il n’était pas mort en février 1673 ? Écrite par Sorbonne Université et le trio d’artistes Obvious avec le concours d’outils d’intelligence artificielle, la pièce se veut rigoureusement dans l’esprit du théâtre du XVIIe siècle tout en étant en forte résonance avec le monde contemporain.
