Electric bikes and scooters are available for hire near the Mucem.

• Direct access via the A55 freeway through the Joliette Tunnel or the Boulevard du Littoral.
• Pedestrian exit on the J4 esplanade.

Q-Park Joliette parking lot

• Direct access :
  • From A55: exit Joliette/Arnavaux > Direction vieux port > after Place de la Joliette turn left on BD des Dames > Take first left on Rue Mazenod Parking Joliette.
  • From A7: Exit 36 > Follow Boulevard des Dames > Direction Joliette > Turn right into Rue Mazenod (parking lot entrance on your left)

Q-Park Vieux Port parking lot

• Direct access :
  • From A55: Direction centre-ville/vieux port > Joliette/Major tunnel > In the tunnel, exit Panier > Take quai du port/Avenue Vaudoyer > Turn left on Avenue Saint-Jean > 1st right Rue de la loge > Access from the parking lot on your left, Rue Henri Tasso.
  • From the A7: exit 36 > Follow Boulevard des Dames > Direction vieux port, following rue de la République > When you reach the old port, turn right and walk up the quay > Turn right into Rue Henri Tasso (access to the parking lot opposite).

Express shuttle service between the airport and Marseille Saint-Charles SNCF station.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from MP1 between Halls 3-4 and 1.

Metro direct to Vieux-Port or Joliette (lines 1 or 2)

All three entrances to the Mucem are wheelchair-accessible.
However, at the Panier entrance, after passing the Saint Laurent footbridge, access to the fort requires human assistance for about ten meters. Please ask the receptionist at the entrance for assistance.

The museum’s reception and ticket offices are wheelchair-accessible and equipped with magnetic induction loops. Priority access and no waiting at reception desks and access control points.

Mobi Métropole provides a door-to-door transport service for disabled people throughout Marseille Provence Métropole.

Access via the J4 entrance, on the J4 esplanade. Please arrive at the group reception desk 15 min before the tour begins.
