  • 2:30 p.m. — Sophie Lovergne, pastry chef at Encore un morceau

Sophie Lovergne opened the pastry shop “Encore un morceau” in the Endoume neighborhood four and a half years ago, after retraining as a pastry chef.

Her approach to baking is artisanal, indulgent, and nostalgic, drawing on childhood memories and the simple joy of sharing delicious homemade family cakes… That’s exactly what you’ll find in her shop. Meanwhile, in the kitchen right in the back, she offers baking workshops for adults and parent-child pairs, with the goal of sharing and teaching basic techniques so everyone can have fun baking at home!

  • 3:00 p.m. — Hélène Bellenger, artist

Drawing on the imagery from the performance *La Devorazione*, staged in Gibellina, Sicily, Hélène Bellenger presents a performance-based lecture that invites the audience to immerse themselves in this experience and discover the aesthetic, mythological, cultural, and culinary reflections that shaped the project.

Hélène Bellenger is a contemporary French artist whose work explores the iconic economy of Western visual culture. Through photography, image collections, installations, performance, and even olfactory art, she examines the continuous flow of images generated by her contemporary context, deconstructing the political, technical, and cultural space of the “re” in representation.

Adopting a sculptural approach to photography, she explores a variety of experimental and printing media to reappropriate existing bodies of images. She conceives of the image as a surface to be activated. The printing media she uses often require physical movement to perceive the image: the viewing experience is fragmentary, spatialized, nonlinear, and sensory.

Through historical and contemporary references, her projects examine the normative nature of Western visual culture and the ways in which images construct and convey representations. In her work, photography becomes at once space, matter, and experience. Hélène Bellenger invites viewers to rethink their relationship with images, to question the power structures they reproduce, and to experiment with other, more conscious and sensitive ways of seeing.

His work has been exhibited at the Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris, the Hangar Photo Art Center in Brussels, the 3 bis F art center in Aix-en-Provence, the Suttie Art Space in Scotland, and the MUCEM in Marseille, among other venues.

A winner of the Dior Prize for Photography and Visual Arts for Emerging Talent and the Eurazeo Young Photographer Award, she has also been a resident artist at the Centre Photographique d’Île-de-France, the Orestiadi Foundation in Sicily, and the Cité Internationale des Arts. Her works have recently been added to the Neuflize OBC and MUCEM collections.

  • 3:30 p.m. — Laura Albier, culinary designer, Mille Feuilles studio

Studio Mille Feuilles invites you to a masterclass featuring a multisensory workshop titled “The Edible Painting.” Come immerse yourself in an artist’s work through a culinary creation you can taste.

  • 4:00 p.m. — Souhila Aïssat, pastry chef at Pâtisserie Madame

Souhila Aïssat will share some of the secrets behind her trompe l’œil pastries.

A Child of L’Estaque Driven by Passion Souhila Aïssat grew up in Marseille, in the L’Estaque neighborhood where she was born and where she has now chosen to base her business. Driven from an early age by a deep passion for pastry, she cherishes a love of sharing and creating.

In 2024, she founded Pâtisserie Madame and made her dream a reality by opening her first shop in May 2025: a gourmet destination where authenticity and elegance come together. The Art of Trompe-l’œil as Her Signature Drawing inspiration from her Mediterranean roots and her travels, Souhila Aïssat has made trompe-l’œil her specialty. Her creations play with realism: what looks like a piece of fruit is actually an intricately crafted pastry, rich in both flavor and texture.

A Demanding Approach Souhila champions authentic, technically precise pastry-making, where nothing is left to chance. Craftsmanship, the passing down of tradition, and excellence guide her work every day. Her world blends precise technique with intense flavors, reflecting a distinct sensibility.

  • 4:30 p.m. — Emma Tholot, artist

Emma Tholot will present *Carnets Méditerranée 1 and 2*, a long-term project, and a live recipe collage.

Emma Tholot’s multifaceted practice combines photography, video, collages, textiles, wax, and metal. Her approach draws on daily and ancestral rituals, as well as family heritage, interweaving the memory of places, the materiality of desire, and collective staging. Through processes of layering, veiling, and photographic transfers, her work reveals the image in a state of fragility, suspended between appearance and disappearance. Set between Southern Italy and Marseille, her recent projects inhabit the same gray areas: those where belief, memory, and identity are negotiated. Born in Saint-Étienne in 1994, Emma Tholot is a graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (2020), the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma (2018), and the Annecy School of Art (2016). Her work has been exhibited, among other venues, at the Salon de Montrouge (2023) and the Centre Photographique Marseille (2022, 2025). Her book *Bona Nit* will be published in 2026 by Macaronibook.

*Carnets Méditerranée I & II* is a long-term project that began in 2020. It explores Mediterranean cultures through collage and the juxtaposition of images and narratives, showcasing rituals, celebrations, recipes, songs, and poems, among other elements of vernacular and oral culture found in the various countries bordering the Mediterranean. Notebook I focuses on a collection of photographs drawn from personal and collective archives, which have been assembled, collaged, and layered to give the travel narrative a new visual form.

The second, II, is organized around an oral and written collection of recipes, combined with film stills, thus creating an intuitive and visual narrative centered on gestures, flavors, and foods. On October 31, Emma Tholot will present this work and publicly create a collage of a recipe for the occasion.
