It illustrates the intermingling of cultures in the Mediterranean and tells the story of the bond that has united people and plants for millennia.  

During a walk, we'll discover the plants that have made their home in the gardens, and which are also featured in the collections.
Clarisse Le Bas (ethnobotanist) and Françoise Dallemagne (in charge of collections and research at Mucem) propose a visit to the gardens while exploring the Mucem collections. We’ll tell you about myths and legends, know-how and uses, as well as decorative motifs. A weaving of herbaceous plants, trees and collected objects that illustrates the close and sensitive companionship between man and plant.
