The fabulous terrier
Mucem offers children and their parents an open-access play area, where they can discover the museum's collections through their emotions.

The play area is built around the story of Phil the rabbit, the guardian of the museum’s collections.
Children must help him find his lost emotions by following the clues left in his burrow. With the help of animators, they discover eight works featured in the “Populaire? Treasures from the collections” and the emotions they evoke. Curiosity, joy, anger, fear, wonder, disgust, astonishment and sadness are explored through eight sensory games linked to the works.

Children can then explore the exhibition.
Equipped with Phil’s magic carrot (children’s audioguide), they discover eight objects in the collections through their emotional character, learning to put into words what they might feel in front of a work of art.
