Discover Tunisian culture through movement and the joy of dance. With Rochdi Belgasmi

This workshop combines a practical, cultural, and engaging approach. Through movements, rhythms, and gestures from different regions of Tunisia, participants explore a living heritage that reflects the country’s history, identities, and traditions.

Open to all skill levels, this introductory class takes place in an atmosphere of joy, sharing, and good cheer. More than just a class, it’s an opportunity to meet new people and discover something new, where learning comes through the joy of dancing together, in a spirit of openness, sharing, and sometimes even humor.

Participants learn the basics of several styles of traditional Tunisian dance, while gaining an understanding of their social, festive, and symbolic contexts. Special attention is given to the relationship between the body, music, and cultural expression.

A time of sharing intended to be a lively, warm, and festive experience!
