Walid Bouchouchi founded the Akakir studio in Paris in 2016 before moving to Marseille.

For several years, he has been sharing his research into multiscript through conferences at which he presents his projects and a collection of printed objects gathered over time. For the Tangible festival, he is opening up this dialogue to other viewpoints by inviting designers and typographers Naïma Ben Ayed and Brahim Boucheikha, explorers of Arabic, Latin and Tifinagh scripts, and translator Lotfi Nia, committed to contemporary Arabic literature.

Together, they will discuss their personal experiences and comment on an ephemeral exhibition of multiscript documents.
