Mucem offers visually impaired visitors the chance to discover temporary exhibitions during audio-description guided tours, which can be accompanied by multi-sensory devices.
The Mucem is the only museum of society whose scholarly mission is entirely dedicated to the cultures of the Mediterranean. It invites us to discover the richness of its European and Mediterranean collections through a new permanent exhibition. From Greco-Roman antiquity to the present day, via the colonial period, this exhibition immerses us in the history of the diverse and often romanticized “Mediterraneans.”
Practical information and booking
– Duration of the audio-described tour of the temporary exhibitions: 1h30
– Free for the accompanying person (the presence of the accompanying person is strongly recommended)
– Access / Meeting point : Hall du J4
– Reservations required on 04 84 35 13 13 or reservation@mucem.org
Multisensory tours of temporary exhibitions are organized in partnership with IRSAM Arc-en-ciel.
