Mucem offers visually impaired visitors the chance to discover temporary exhibitions during audio-description guided tours, which can be accompanied by multi-sensory devices.

For four millennia, motherhood has been at the heart of stories, rituals and images that shape societies.

The “Bonnes Mères” exhibition focuses on Mediterranean maternity as an object of social construction, a political issue and an artistic subject, in an immersive, diachronic journey tracing its history from Antiquity to the present day, in a constant back-and-forth between eras and works of art.

Multisensory tours of temporary exhibitions are organized in partnership with IRSAM Arc-en-ciel.
