Discover the DJs
Maxye
In the teeming Parisian scene, Maxye is a DJ with an inimitable style. After an exile in Berlin, she returned to Paris to set down her bags, her records, and warm up the turntables of the biggest clubs and festivals, both in France and abroad.
With each mix, Maxye creates an alchemy that draws its roots from Chicago to Berlin, via Lagos. House, Disco, World and Global Beat are his preferred playgrounds, explored for over 4 years via his residency at Rinse FM, Maxye Best Of.
Maxye creates an authentic and singular sound, skilfully navigating between musical currents and eras to reveal their richness. His sets appeal to both connoisseurs and curious ears in search of new musical discoveries.
Rag
DJ, producer, organizer, programmer, artistic director… Rag wears many hats.
Rag learned to party, to dance and to make people dance, when she was still a teenager. The revelation came when she met the first few female DJs on the Paris techno scene. She then threw herself wholeheartedly into organizing parties, and in 2008 joined the Barbi(e)turix lesbian collective, to which she injected new energy.
Faithful to her activism, she programmed the podium of the Marche des Fiertés (30,000 people) with an electro and techno twist, four years in a row.
It also collaborates with numerous venues such as La Gaîté Lyrique, Le Cabaret Sauvage, La Cité Fertile and Le Sucre, and offers a wide range of events.
Equally at home in clubs and festivals, she is a resident of Badaboum and Rinse France radio. She’s also behind the booth at Nuits Sonores, the Cape Town Music Electronic Festival, We Love Green, the Rex club, Peacock Society, Le Sucre, Berlin, London and New York. She excels at techno, dark disco and post-punk, always with enthusiasm intact. In 2022, she took over the DA de Virage when it opened, half-club, half-open air. Located under the northern ring road, open to all publics, all sexualities and all genders, it’s a unique venue where she applies her avant-garde, militant and egalitarian clubbing philosophy to her DJ sets. It surprises with the diversity of its programming, inviting those who make and create differently – djs, collectives, performers – alongside the great international and local names of the electronic music scene.
