Explore the body's musicality by combining various contemporary dance techniques. With Nawal Aït Benalla
Nawal Aït Benalla co-composes the music for her choreographic works and views the body as an instrument of music and dialogue. Influenced by jazz, African, contemporary, and hip-hop dance, she seeks to share her passion for dance without boundaries.
From grand opera arias to traditional North African music, with stops along the way at electronic and repetitive music, the diverse musical worlds she explores serve as a foundation for her research and choreographic creation, which is based on organic movements.
Using a variety of techniques drawn from classical, jazz, and contemporary dance—and driven by rhythm and momentum—everyone will be able to enjoy giving themselves over, body and soul, to the movement.
