An exceptional evening with Séphora Pondi, Edgard Chenest, Vincent Delerm to close the 10ᵉ edition with
8pm – Avale, With Séphora Pondi and Edgard Chenest
Comédie-Française resident Séphora Pondi gives voice to Avale, her first novel (winner of the Prix Premier roman Les Inrockuptibles and the Prix Roman des étudiants France Culture 2025), in a musical reading accompanied by musician Edgard Chenest. Between realism and turmoil, the story follows two opposing trajectories: that of Tom, a young man haunted by violence and the desire to devour, and that of Lame, an aspiring actress exploring the flaws of her past under hypnosis. Two bodies, two tensions coming together to the breaking point. Carried by sensual, incisive writing, this performance restores the power of a text that questions desire, domination and fear.
9:30 pm – Vincent Delerm, concert en toutes lettres
To close the evening, Vincent Delerm offers a literary concert specially imagined for the festival’s tenth anniversary. Songs and texts meet, mixing Delerm’s own compositions with excerpts from his favorite books.
From the outset, Delerm’s “style” has established itself as a signature: an art of detail, an attention to fragile moments and discreet emotions. Somewhere between song, film and literature, his universe is an intimate pantheon of memories and sensations.
At Fort Saint-Jean, facing the sea, one last song to prolong the magic of the festival and bring it to a gentle close…
The Café du Fort welcomes you from 7pm and throughout the evening with a range of food and drinks.
Join us at the Librairie-boutique du Mucem throughout the evening to discover a selection of books, and after each proposal for signing sessions.
