A Family Man’s Odyssey in Jerusalem: A Fast-Paced Road Movie.

With Mustafa on one side and Salwa and the children on the other, a family lives separated on either side of the Israeli Wall, just 200 meters apart. They cope with daily life using all the ingenuity and tenderness needed to “live” like everyone else, until a serious incident shatters this fragile balance. To find his injured son on the other side, the father embarks on an odyssey through the checkpoints, riding as a passenger in an illegal minibus where everyone’s fate collides with the most absurd obstacles.

*200 Meters*, by Ameen Nayfeh (2021, 1 hour 37 minutes).

A session moderated by Borja de Miguel Sanz.
Featuring Raphaël Bories, chief heritage curator at Mucem.
