Folklore

The exhibition "Folklore" was scheduled to run from 4 November 2020 to 22 February 2021. Unfortunately, because of the health situation, it could not be opened to the public.

All the content produced and presented in the exhibition (catalogue, images, videos, etc) as well as a virtual visit of the exhibition rooms at the Mucem is available online in order to learn about the concept of folklore and its myriad of secrets.

In addition to the 200 works, objects and documents presented in the exhibition, this virtual tour includes numerous documents, technical sheets, texts, catalogue extracts and HD visuals, all of which can be used to deepen and enrich your visit.

An installation of anonymous works from the collections of the Mucem, the Centre national des arts plastiques, the Musée d'Arts de Nantes, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes, the Musée Rodin, the LaM in Villeneuve-d'Ascq and the Palais Fesch - Musée des Beaux-Arts in Ajaccio.
