Vue de la foire Saint-Germain et de l'ensemble de ses boutiques et de son théâtre dans une architecture moderne à colonnade, sans toitures, ses allées pavées, son éclairage et l'animation qui y régnait due, notamment, aux représentations théâtrales qui s'y tenaient. Ici, il s'agit d'une comédie italienne jouée du haut d'un balcon.
