Roland Carta

Born in 1951, Roland Carta trained and qualified (in 1976) at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture in Marseille, where he still lives and works today.

His agency Carta-Associés counts thirty employees who work together with him on major public (Pasteur Hospital in Nice, Musee d'Histoire in Marseille) and private (headquarters of the BPPC and La Mondiale) projects. His work is primarily based in France but also in Italy (French School of Milan), Morocco (Sheikh Zayed Foundation in Rabat) and in Africa.

He sits on the boards of insurance companies for designers and architects in France, Spain, Germany and Brazil. He is a correspondent-member of the French National Academy of Architecture.
