ORIENT EXPRESS SILENSEAS

140 years after the launch of its first luxury trains, the legend of the ORIENT EXPRESS continues with the launch of the largest sailing cruise ships, the Orient Express Silenseas.

A revolution in maritime history and a fabulous project that pushes the boundaries of what has been achieved so far, in terms of both the travel experience and technology. These ships are the result of a unique partnership between Accor, the world leader in the hotel industry, and Les Chantiers de l'Atlantique, a leader in cruise ship construction.

Our ships will be equipped with the latest technologies in environmental protection and sustainable development, including shore power, electric propulsion, and a hybrid LNG/ MDO, DP1 dynamic positioning, a marine mammal anti-collision system, and, of course, three SOLIDSAILS masts and 4,500 m² of sail area, providing a real possibility of sailing under sail alone.

This extraordinary ship of the future, with its spectacular interior design, will set sail in 2026.
