To mark the European Heritage Days, choreographer Mehdi Kerkouche brings the Mucem to life for the 5th edition of “On danse chez vous”.
Under the banner of solidarity and celebration of dance, ODCV brings together artists from all backgrounds and choreographic styles in a marathon of performances, initiations, exchanges, battles and highlights.
This year’s program features artists from the Marseilles region and the Mediterranean basin. They will take over the various outdoor spaces of the Mucem, from the J4 terrace to Fort St Jean. For direct access to the event, we recommend entering via Fort Saint-Jean.
An unparalleled immersion in Mediterranean dance and culture, combining modernity and original artistic proposals.
In co-production with Centre Chorégraphique National de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne / EMKA.
Should the maximum capacity be reached, Mucem reserves the right, for safety reasons, to restrict admission to the museum terrace or Fort Saint-Jean.
The Mucem would like to inform you that this event, produced with Culturebox, will be filmed and broadcast on the France Télévisions platform. By entering the site, you accept that the footage in which you may appear may be used, exploited and broadcast within this framework and by the Musem or its partners as part of its activities with its various audiences, on its various broadcasting channels.
Program:
In the Galerie des Officiers from 2pm to 7pm and throughout the event, you’ll have the opportunity to discover projections and retrospectives of choreographic works by the CCN since 1984, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ACCN.
For this 5th edition of On danse chez vous, the association supported is SOS Méditerranée.
Every year, thousands of people attempt to cross the Mediterranean Sea after fleeing unbearable situations in their home countries or on the migration route. @sosmediterranee_france is an association born in the spring of 2015 from the mobilization of citizens determined to act in the face of the humanitarian catastrophe of shipwrecks in the central Mediterranean. Between 2016 and 2024, its teams, aboard the Aquarius and then the Ocean Viking, rescued more than 40,000 men, women and children in distress in the central Mediterranean, the world’s deadliest migratory sea route.
