Voice, wood, metal: small percussion and kitchen objects workshop
Pulsations! - Saturday shows and workshops
Practice course, for the general public
By Vanesa Muela (musician and singer)
In this workshop, Vanesa Muela reveals that we all have access to a battery in the secrecy of our cupboards, and that all the objects that nestle there can give rhythm to our gestures and our bodies: spoons, saucepans, frying pans, lids. Everyone is welcome to bring their own utensils, and their own, sometimes recent, experience of using them: at events, to welcome newlyweds, or even ministers on the move!
A program imagined with the Cité de la Musique.

Concert
By Vanesa Muela (vocals and percussion) and Rodrigo Jaraba (vihuela, guitar, baroque lute, teorbe)
A concert celebrating the ancient alliance of woodwinds and strings, skins and hands.
The traditional repertoire of León and Castilla harbors a treasure trove of popular melodies from which composers have constantly drawn, from the gardens of Al-Andalus to revolutionary Spain.
This concert presents an unprecedented anthology, bearing witness to all the influences that have forged the collective memory of the peoples who have passed through, or settled, in this music.
A program imagined with the Cité de la Musique.
