Michel Kelemenis’s VERSUS is a duet for four dancers. The main protagonist is desire, its rise and fall, while the dancer couples follow one another, multiplying possible incarnations.
From rapture to rapture, the room flows as the partners change. A unique musical dimension, pop and sexy, heats up this space of shared intimacy. Into the languor of the sound loop slips the off-screen. Into the out-of-frame creeps trouble…

This choreographic practice workshop invites you to approach the challenges of Michel Kelemenis’ creation VERSUS: the interplay of glances, closeness and distance… Gestural exploration of different states of the body mingles with that of duet relationships to open up different ways of relating to the other.
