Using Mediterranean plants from the Jardin des Migrations, Émilie Fayet introduces us to the ancient art of vegetable textile dyeing.
After an introduction to the history of dyeing and its various techniques, participants will learn about dyeing plants and bath preparation, as well as textile fibers and mordanting techniques. Each participant will be able to create his or her own tie & dye handkerchief.
