On the program:
The program for this festive opening includes guided tours by Hervé Di Rosa and curator Vincent Giovannoni, as well as two concerts: Théo Ould, virtuoso accordionist and revelation at the 2023 Victoires de la musique classique awards, and Pleasures, an inspired and energetic band from Marseilles, whose timeless rock rhythms and melodic power pop will make the Mucem resonate.

Founded in 2017 by ex-Neurotic Swingers (3 albums, over 250 dates in Europe, USA and Canada), Expressway (in which John Moore of Jesus & Marychain played) the band is quickly making a name for itself with concerts with Little Barrie, The Liminanas, Meatbodies, L.A
Witch or Jim Jones & The Righteous Minds.With Patrick Atkinson (a Londoner who has lived in Marseille for the past ten years) on vocals, Pleasures released “Feel It Rise”, a highly acclaimed 1st album, which received excellent reviews from the media (indie rock press and radio stations, Sweet Soul Loving on FIP…). The confinement delays
the recording of the new opus, but marks the arrival of a new drummer Simon (Tense Of Fools) and bassist Loïc (Dissonant Nation). A few concerts were enough to establish the band’s chemistry, before recording this new album (11 tracks, including a new version of The Sound)! Pop Rock & Roll!New Clip/Single “Trust The Night” on February 18, 2025.
