Pulsations! - Saturday shows and workshops

Concert

With Walid Ben Selim (singer, composer) and Marie-Marguerite Cano (harp)

Walid Ben Selim is a humanist singer-songwriter and lover of poetry, to which he devotes his artistic career. He founded one of the first rap groups in Morocco.

The artist explores the vast horizons of Sufi poetry, redrawing the boundaries between traditional and contemporary Arab music. In duet with harpist Marie-Marguerite Cano, he embodies the verses of the sages Mahmoud Darwich, Ibn Arabi and Rumi, enriched by more personal texts.

A program devised by Les Suds à Arles.
