Weekend ouverture 10 ans du Mucem

The Mucem is 10 years old, and it’s time to celebrate! From June 2023 to June 2024, 10 exceptional events will punctuate the year: an anniversary year to which you’re all invited!

The festivities kick off with a grand opening weekend on June 3 and 4:

For two days, the artists mingle with the public in an abundance of surprises and unexpected encounters, in the exhibition halls as well as in the museum’s corridors and the gardens of Fort Saint-Jean.
As you stroll along, you’ll come across dancers, storytellers, graffiti artists, musicians, comedians and performers; sometimes all you have to do is open a door and you’ll be projected into another universe: that of all the artists who wanted to share their dreams for the Mucem’s 10th anniversary.

During the opening weekend, there will also be evening events:

On Friday June 2, a concert by Black M and Alonzo will bring together the best of the French rap scene as part of Inclusion Day (sold out).

Saturday June 3, at dusk, Le Temps des lumières vives, by Groupe F, will celebrate the beauty and richness of the Mucem’s architectural ensemble: exploring the mesh, climbing the landmarks, mischievous characters activate the bright lights that will make the building, the sea and the sky shine.

And last but not least, on Sunday June 4, we’ll be dancing the summer away with three great balls!

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Mucem is to begin a new story: let’s design the next 10 years together!
