The harvest is over, but a particularly severe drought is causing water problems in the village. Every season, a play is staged in the village. This year, the play is entitled “Départs”.

Karim Kassem was born and raised in Beirut. He worked in New York from 2012 to 2022. He has directed several documentaries, including Only the Winds (2020), Octopus (2021) and Thiiird (2023). Moondove is his fourth feature film.
