Migrant women's experiences on Europe's postcolonial frontiers

Meeting with Nina Sahraoui (PRINTEMPS/CNRS)

This session will look back at research carried out with women in migration situations at the borders of Melilla/Ceuta (Spain) and Mayotte (France). Based on the question of access to maternity care for women in situations of administrative precariousness, we will address the ambiguous articulation of healthcare and migration control in contexts of repressive migration governance.

Jointly prepared by the “Chantiers féministes” and “Mobilités et appartenances” thematic axes of the Centre Norbert Elias de Marseille.
