Jazz and magic: two different practices full of concordances, and two personalities to present them to us. In the arena, a magician and a musician bridge the gap between their disciplines, passing the ball back and forth with a relaxed sense of humor, offering the audience a verbal joust that’s as much visual as it is sonic. Object manipulation, new magic and clowning are the mainstays of Blizzard Concept. Created in 2012, this company imagines a singular, offbeat circus, constantly in search of emotion, fun and poetics.
