With the help of a series of tactile stations, this sensory tour takes visitors back to the heart and history of the Mucem: its collection. This permanent exhibition presents the collection in all its diversity. It brings together the historical holdings of the Musée national des arts et traditions populaires, the European collections of the Musée de l’Homme and those acquired since the early 2000s, with a view to opening up to the Mediterranean and the contemporary world.
Designed to meet the needs of visually-impaired and blind visitors, this tour is integrated into the exhibition and accessible to all visitors. Each tactile object is accompanied by a text in large print and Braille.
