Focus 2024

Focus

Salon des écritures alternatives en sciences sociales

Here, researchers and professionals from the creative economy meet to reflect, exchange ideas and imagine new forms of narrative in the human and social sciences. The Focus salon questions the way research is written, and integrates other forms, such as film, sound, live performance or any other form of writing.

This annual event fosters inter-professional encounters and encourages joint reflection on the challenges of production and distribution.

Created in 2020 by a national network of researchers, the Focus fair is held every year at the Mucem in Marseille. For four days, researchers, students and players in the cultural and creative economy take over the museum’s spaces for conferences, workshops (reserved access), professional meetings, exhibitions, a magazine forum…

The program

Focus is organized by CNRS and Mucem, in partnership with EHESS, Aix-Marseille University, the University of Avignon, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, IRD, the Centre Norbert Elias and the City of Marseille.
