Tonight, we dance with the artists of the TIGHTEN UP! festival.
7pm DJ Dlegz & Jigui Juice
La Fréquence is the innovative project of DJ D-Legz and Jiggy Juice, who mix hip-hop, R&B, trap and UK garage. DJ D-Legz captivates crowds with his powerful sets, while Jiggy Juice energizes every track with his real-time beats. Their collaboration offers a revolutionary and unforgettable musical experience.
8:15 pm Blanka
(La Fine Equipe, Nowadays)
Preview of his latest album Après Flares, the multi-hatted producer and member of La Fine Équipe is back with “Birds”, an ode to Lo-Fi and a testament to his love of the natural world around him. Born in Marseille, Blanka is a member of beatmakers La Fine Equipe and founder of mastering studio Kasablanka and label Kawaa Records. While Blanka remains the sole captain on “Birds”, he takes the opportunity to invite several of his long-standing collaborators (Sara Lugo, Onra,…) as well as new encounters (De Phase, King Krab, Papa Rua,…). And all the tracks were created on the spot with the same direction. Whether in the choice of textures, instruments or themes, all the guests and musicians were at the service of the chosen theme.

A well-known nightlife activist on the Marseilles scene, Selecter The Punisher is also artistic director of the excellent Tighten Up! festival and a mainstay of the Groove Unity parties. In other words, a DJ who knows how to turn up the heat, and has a veritable mountain of vinyl dating back to the roots of funk” Sortir / TELERAMA.
A well-known nightlife activist on the Marseilles scene, Selecter the Punisher is also artistic director of the Tighten Up festival, offering a down-tempo experience of trip-hop, soul, jazz, hip-hop, Afro, Latin and other global sounds at the Mucem this summer. Tonight, he presents three artists from various Mediterranean countries with strong ties to Marseille, where some of them reside. Music moves as human beings travel, and what they have in common is Massilia and groove!

Kiro is a DJ and street dancer, originally from Sicily and based in Marseille since 2017. Influenced by underground movements for a long time, his selection is a mix of different styles: Funk, Breaks, Techno and DnB, either on vinyl or digital. Obsessed with complex and hypnotic textures, he always tries to find logical connections between tracks, in order to build a musical story to share with listeners.

With Raph Dumas, you don’t know where to turn! Producer (Pascal Comelade, The Limiñanas, Manu Chao), composer and artist with an impressive discography, DJ and remixer in his day. His musical activism could already fill several lives! For years, he’s been sampling and remixing cobla on LP. It’s his signature at the end of his set.
Catalonia is as much a part of the DJ’s roots as it is of his everyday life, and Raph Dumas is constantly adding new flavors to his sonic tapas. He is responsible for one of the key tracks in international hip-hop battles, and for the marriage of traditional Catalan music with electro, Coblism, which he plays live in collaboration with the Cobla Sant Jordi, Barcelona’s local Cobla.
