Davide Ambrogio grew up in a small town in Calabria’s Aspromonte massif, where ancient religious rituals and devotional songs still live on… This Saturday, he’s bringing them with him to the Mucem!
Songs of struggle or devotion, a lullaby and conjurations, evoke and invoke the ritualistic tradition of Davide Ambrogio’s native Aspromonte. A sound of origins that flows through the singing body and the multiple instruments (lyre, guitar, bagpipes) to reemerge in a dazzling sonic and visual piece.
