Accompanied by circus artist Sylvain Julien and his hoops, the Franco-Syrian ensemble Bab Assalam reinvents the myth of the whirling dervish in a concert in which Sufi trance becomes intoxicating, hypnotic circus poetry. A beautiful invitation to travel and a striking tribute to the city of Aleppo.
