Day of celebration
Let's go, kids! - Family Christmas vacations
Carousel for all ages
Ateliers Sud Side and Cie F / Arthur Perole
Come aboard the Sud Side workshops carousel for a spectacular and festive moment… The carousel comes to life, the music starts up and each ride lasts about 5 minutes!
From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., take a ride on the merry-go-round!
At 2pm, in show format, the carousel comes to life with dancers from Cie F / Arthur Perole. After the unveiling of the carousel, they invite children to climb on the subjects and take turns on the merry-go-round.
JOUR DE FÊTE is a 360-degree show created by the Sud Side workshops and directed by Cie F / Arthur Perole. The carousel was built by Marseilles residents to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Les ateliers Sud Side coordinated the creation of the merry-go-round, inviting 20 neighborhoods to collaborate with 20 artists in its construction and staging. The JOUR DE FÊTE project was broadcast throughout Marseille’s priority neighborhoods in 2024, announcing the hosting of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the city.
