Timeless and universal, basketry comes in an infinite variety of forms, uses, techniques and materials. It seems that weaving plants has been with mankind since the dawn of time, but is it only mankind when you consider what some birds and plants can do?
Through the creation of a wicker basket, we’ll learn the basic techniques of basketry. Handle the raw material and rediscover archaic gestures as you create your own work.
