Anachroniques, session 7: Thinking or spending energy

“Anachroniques” is a collective for reading and discussing social science texts (history, philosophy, sociology or anthropology), led by historians Jérémie Foa and Thomas Glesener (Aix-Marseille University). Aimed at a public of the curious, students, teachers, artists and activists, Anachroniques focuses as much on current publications as on classic works approached in an amateur spirit.

The aim is to make the social sciences accessible to a wider public, using popular education methods: the texts on the program are first presented by the organizers, then discussed collectively.

Texts presented :

François Jarrige, La Ronde des bêtes. Le moteur animal et la fabrique de la modernité, Paris, La Découverte, 2023.

Fanny Lopez, Á bout de flux, Paris, Divergences, 2022.
