Anachroniques, session 1 - Situated knowledge

Seminar

“Anachroniques” is a reading and discussion group led by historians Jérémie Foa and Thomas Glesener (Aix-Marseille University).

Anachroniques is aimed at the curious, students, teachers, artists and activists, and focuses as much on current publications as on classic works in an amateur spirit. The aim is to make the social sciences accessible to a broad public, using popular education methods: the texts on the program are first presented by the organizers, then discussed collectively.

Suggested readings for discussion :

– Dorothy Smith, Institutional ethnography.
