Three short pieces that poetically reinvent the formulation of physical distance: 4m2, or a space of 8m3 for one dance. This cramped, symbolic space becomes, thanks to the artists, a carrier of the imaginary, a child’s bedroom from which the world is dreamt.
An artists’ riposte to cushion, by seizing, the attack on the engaged body.

Dreaming, inhabiting space through the body, amplifying movements or containing them – these are the compositional challenges of the solos in the 8m3 show, to be discovered at the end of the day. In this workshop, Corinne Pontana and Aurore Indaburu share a little of their own solo exploration. They take a sensitive look at the boundaries and differences between spontaneous and chosen movement…
